Our freeze dried rose petals for pathways are all-natural and completely biodegradable. We take the best roses available and remove their petals one by one. They are placed in a freeze dryer for two weeks to remove their moisture so they last for months. These are REAL rose petals, not artificial, so you can use them outdoors. These Pathway Petals are the imperfect petals that do not make it into our Premium Petals. They typically contain the outer guard petals which have some green in them, along with other imperfect petals due to tears, cracks, or ridges from the freeze drying process. IMPORTANT: For the best qualtiy, we recommend ordering within one month of when you plan to use the petals. While the rose petals are preserved, they will slowly change color over time when exposed to light and humitidy. They are best stored in a dark, dry location, such as a closet.
